I’ve created a YouTube channel for the Heaven’s Disciples Team. This channel will host videos for the team and our potential recruits. I’ve begun engaging in discussions in the comments sections of YouTube videos that I find helpful in building our team.
I’ve created a Google+ page for the Heaven’s Disciples Team. The purpose of this page is to learn, network, and build our team for continued success. I’ve already begun joining some Google+ communities related to leadership and team building.
I invite everyone with an interest in what we are doing to follow us on our Google+ page.
Unreal Engine 4, and all future updates, are available for free! The engine is free for download to use in video game development, architecture, visualization, virtual reality (VR), filmmaking, and computer animation. The licensing arrangement was simplified for product developers. When a video game or application is sold, the developer pays a 5% royalty on gross revenue after the first $3,000 per product, per quarter. In the words of Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic (the video game developers and creators of the Unreal Engine), “we succeed only when you succeed.”
I’ve had my eye on Unreal Engine for the past few years, but realized how expensive it was. Until now, I hadn’t found any viable alternatives. Epic Games presented us with a wonderful opportunity, thanks to the Unreal Engine community and Tom Sweeny. This is the same engine used by Epic to build their own video games. The engine “scales from indie projects to high-end blockbusters.” It supports the major platforms, such as PCs, PlayStation, XBox, and much more. The engine includes 100% of the C++ source code!
Let’s shape our own destiny using this opportunity and ‘epic’ tool.
